Intermediate Shaft Crush Sleeve - Different Ones?

I see the LR parts manual lists one intermediate shaft crush sleeve, but does anyone know if the Disco or later Defenders had a different one? The reason I ask is the one RN sent me is about 1/8" larger in diameter than the intermediate shaft, which seems counterintuitive to me.
