Interiors

About to purchase a 90 im based in the Uk so plenty to choose from. Just thinking about interior storage knowing that a 90 isnt exactly spacious. So how do alll you arange your intriors i'll need to keep at leats 2 jump seats in the rear for passengers or alternativly i'll fit 2 forward facing rear seats (exmoor trim type which fold onto the wheel arch) Thinking mainly of boxes for recovery gear tools etc also thinkiing of a expedition fridge

I have the forward facing exmoor seats. They are nice to sit in, but you can't have 2 seats and any storage. When folded, the seats take up all but about 6" on either side of the wheel well. You could have 2 side seats and a box.

Alex;

There is an awsome write up by Ken Loyd under the "Custom Mods" section of this site. Look under "Toolboxes for Series and Defenders". A very well made and perfectly fitted toolbox for storing all kinds of Rover stuff. That guy can even install locks. There is even a recent Thread - Rear Storage under the Wanted section of the forum with a photo of a recent install from a guy in Georgia. Looks and sounds like that is exactly what your looking for. I hear he is even a pretty nice guy to deal with too.

Let me know if I can help or just answer any questions!

Troy

Dave I was thinking about buying a pair of the forward facing seats as well, would you mind snapping some pictures when you get a chance with them in your truck folded and unfolded? Thanks

Alex,
I like the inward facing seats side by side with storage on the other side.
this allows free floor space and the flexability to carry passanger if neeed be.

I purchased my storage box from sears and it is the perfect size for the wheel well mounting.
