Installing Slotted Brake Rotors

So is there a right way and a wrong way for them to go on? I notice on one the slots go one direction, the other rotor is opposite... alas no install instructions (as with so much of the upgrade stuff I get from across the Atlantic )

Hi Joel I have fitted mine with the slots running down to up right to left, my thinking being that the slot appears to "dive" into the pad helping to clear the surface. ... Or... I thought it looked better...dont remember which. Hmmm not really a definitive answer i guess.

regards.

results from Google seem to confirm that, although possibly for different reasons...

On some high performance rotors, the interior veins are curved to improve air flow. That is where rotation direction matters.

Most basic rotors have straight veins and it matters not which side you put them on.

If they are marked L & R, they prob have curved.
These arent marked, and I dont think the vanes are curved, but I have not really looked. Will report back.
