Installing Brake Controller--where to tap into brakes

For the wiring for the Brake Controller, I need to tap into the brake signal--I know where it comes out of the back of the brake box in the engine compartment and goes into the wiring harness (green with purple stripe, I believe) but I didn't know if that was also available somewhere more convenient in the cab. I have looked at the fuse box--and I will again, and I can always tap in at the brake box, but I was hoping there might be a wire behind the instrument cluster or in the cabin. If any of you know, please do tell! Thanks--

Bump - looking for the same answer ...

Does anyone know if there's the same grey plug under the dash as there is in the D1? Also, what's the easiest way to get at the plug if you have factory air conditioning?

I finally just tapped in off where the wires come out of the booster under the hood, FYI.

Did you happen to check if there's a grey plug under the lower dash on the left side of the column?

If so, it should jus be plug and play. My 90 is in the shop otherwise I'd check. Either way, seems like a write up will be helpful for others, so ill take a stab at it next weekend ...
