install alpine "lights" windows with sealent or w/o ?

The alpine lights in the 110 are leaking , I'm installing new rubber mounts , the question is would they seal better / longer if a window sealant was used in-between the rubber and the roof or the rubber and the window or just leave it dry ?

Dry. Any sealer will make for a difficult time at replacement. The rubber goes bad in a few years so you should plan to redo them every so often.

Thanks, I did it dry. First tried windex to make the rubber trim fit easier , ended up with a spray silicone , made life ,much easier
