Apparently the answer, in my case is 5 days. Whooo Hooo!

BTW, the shipper (AutoshippersUK) notified me they stuck a photo of my Rover on their Facebook page. Holy crap was that a time suck of drooling over cars I did not know existed and rovers I've seen sell, only to wonder where they are going. Cool stuff.

My Perentie RFSV arrived (my second import) in Baltimore on last week on a Sunday. I called shipping company once a day in this time period, it cleared on 5th business day (friday), 2 other friends Perenties arrived on the same boat, they cleared in 2 and 4 business days. Theirs were more conventional looking and only had 1 exam each, mine had atleast 2 exams, maybe 3.

I would call at your own risk though, I'm not sure how much pressure should really be put on customs

I picked mine up in Newark NJ.

Basically they gave me a date, I showed up, and a crew member walked over to the car, checked the vin, and signed the paperwork.

I have to believe even CBP is now bored to tears with Land Rover imports at this stage.

Just don't ship it in a container. They are still busting balls with containers, ask me how I know.

His story sounds more like a terminal employee confirming the vin number is correct to the paperwork, to make sure he is taking his own truck.

Any more times of waiting more recently?

Mine hit port today and broker just informed me it's been designated for inspection. Waiting game is killing me!

my Tithonus hit NJ port end of this March and no inspection. Was in my driveway 7 days later in Mass. Either way, you'll have to sweat it out..
