Injector washers 200/300tdi?

I tried washers from the local injector shop, still had a leak, so I went with the real McCoy from Eric at AB.
My question is, which way do they go? ridge down towards the block(left pic) or ridge up towards the injector(right pic)?

You would think, just because one side is so different than the other

To please your mind put half one way and the other half the other, at least 50% would be correct.

Really does not matter

Less than a month ago I changed out mine. I found that in the factory installed washers, the ridges were all faced down. Put a dab of grease on them to hold them to the injector.

Don't know that it matters. Be sure the seat on the head is carbon free, shinny metal all the way around.

I haven't seen those washers without the rubber inner rim before.
