Injection Pump leak

Hello everyone, this is my first post on d90. I currently daily drive my dad's 87 110 ex mod with the typical 2.5 na. I try to keep up with problems as they occur and I like to learn to fix them on my own. I recently noticed a fuel leak coming from the hose entering the top section of the injection pump that is closest to the fan. Fuel was puddled on top of the nut that the hose goes into. I am curious as to how I would fix this? Or is it not that big of a deal? Thanks.

Is the hose cracked? Did you try tightening the nut?

The dreaded Plastic hose leak.
If tightening the fitting fails, then you need to replace the line.
Remember tight is tight and too tight is bad, so don't break anything.

I ended up replacing all my plastic fuel line with more...plastic fuel line. The stuff sucks but will last forever.

in hindsight i wish i went with clear urethane fuel line...like the blue parts unlimited stuff but clear

Try tightening the flare nut, if not it prob leaking at the hose to metal fitting area...its just kinda jammed on there
