Ignition switch. What am I missing?

Replacing ignition switch on a NAS 90 but ran into a snag. Look like the PO replaced the switch at one time with non-genuine. Ordered a genuine one from RN. Pictured. Part number LR039638. Says it the right one. Anyway. The switch when installed won't engage with the male in the tumbler. Wrong size and shape. Is there an a adapter of sorts that is missing? Wrong part sent by RN? The non oem part that was taken out obviously works but is different female connection. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes. There's a little piece that couples the lock with the tumbler which falls off easily... Looks like this. Click image for larger version

Damn. That is what I suspected.

Thanks. It is no where to be found as the non oem switch that was in there does not use that. So I positive it was removed and then discarded when that switch was installed.

Any idea where to find that piece?

It comes as a part of the complete lock assembly. Think I still have the box somewhere. When I get back from I'll send you the part no.
