Ignition barrel

Can anyone tell me what the two wire plug is for on the top of a NAS ignition barrel. The wires are white/purple and brown.

A year always helps. Did you buy another NAS? From what I remember from the radio wiring purple is for ACC?

This may help.

I think it's the wiring that make the chimer chime when you leave the keys in the ignition.

Just like others said. Just replaced mine, the new one didn't have that wire but on the old one, it was for the chime for when you leave the key in the ignition. I was glad to not have that
