When I drove my Defender (94 NAS ST) I bought for the first time after it was unloaded yesterday I immediately noticed something is wrong with the brakes. I opened the hood and discovered the vacuum hose to the booster is missing... Could someone perhaps help me out by checking to see how the vacuum hoses are routed and where it connects to the engine?
There is a hose on the opposite side of the engine (passenger side LHD) that's plugged with a bolt. Is this for the booster?
Also there's what appears to be a connection for something at the throttle body housing. Anything?
The Microcat diagram of the setup shows sort of a complicated routing with a vacuum tank (MUC1679). My truck has A/C (not functioning) but I could not find the vacuum tank. Do I need that? Would it be near the brake booster? The diagram does not show where hoses #3 and #8 go.
