I need help ASAP

So i`m 20 miles away from home right this moment and my transfer case is stuck in neutral. it wont budge, at all, so the car wont move. Any suggestions? If anyone wants to call me at 650 346 6265 to help me out, that would be absolutely killer.

sorry to hear it... If it is truly shot I think I saw one with a 1.6 low ratio at rovers down south website. This is lower than standard IIRC, check it out..

and stock is what, 1.2? Because i could get a LT230 with 10k miles on it for $300, and pay out the ass to have it installed.... but thinking about it, how easy/hard is it to install these t-cases?

the 1.6 is the high range not the low range... I would go with the $300 dollar one and install it your self.. its not hard just heavy and awkward.. take your center console off and the plate below it.. als the tunnel cover inside and you will see the bolts.. about 8 of them and the drive shafts.. I would rig up a jack with a plate on it. I made one out of plywood and 2x4's to support it in and out..

So what is the 1.6 going to do for me? Wouldn`t that just slow me down? I`m running 33`s right now (planning on stepping it up to 35`s), with 4.10 gearing in the diffs. How would this all work together?
