I need an R380 core

I want to replace my R380 transmission because the output shaft is shot. I'm looking all over for a rebuilt tranny (might as well fix it for the long term), but can't find one. I called Rob at Southwest Rovers (he did the t-case), and he can do it but he doesn't have a core. With shipping him my tranny, it would take about a three week turnaround, which is too long of a down time. Rovers North is about six weeks from getting one.

I'm still calling places, and I have the option of having a local tranny shop do it, but I was wondering if anybody has a core that would ship it to Southwest Rovers for me. Obviously I'd pay for the shipping. That way, I could drive the Rover whilst the core is being rebuilt and shipped, and it would only be down a couple days during replacement. I could then ship my core to the original owner, to Southwest, or even keep it and rebuild it myself. Know anybody?

Thanks!
Pete

Is it from your salvage beast, and is it just a core? Would you be willing to ship it for me, and what do you want for it?

it is full transmission from salvage blacky, hard to put it in to reverse. I try to get to it to tighten the screw, which should take care of reverse.
Asking for $400 plus shipping cost

I got one laying in the corner of the shop you can have for $100+shipping. I was gonna call Rob this week and see if he wanted it as a core. I'd rather everybody be happy and you not have such a long "Downtime".
