I belive this is a Torsen unit BUT I have no application! The FTC #'s are the weird part!

just guessing but the only torsens in rovers I know of are in the 03 and up range rovers.

The width is correct! The bolt count is correct! The only thing I am not sure of is wether it is front or rear the application & the history of the unit. Next to the ftc# is a date of 10/31/88. I have called toyota america who now owns torsen & they are not getting back to me!
I belive it to be a unit that was made for Camel Trophy but I am guessing!

The Rangie torsens were made for the center diff! As they were NP transfer cases!!

Sure looks like an early Quaife diff.

Later ones seem to have the work gears oriented in the same axis as the axles.
