I am gonna do it.

I just ordered my self a galvanized chassis. (marsland). The old one is still rock solid with minimum rust, but i want to bring the relations hip to the next level The plan is to do the swap this upcoming winter in my spare time. It was very costly to get it delivered up north, so i hope the end result will be worth it.

So value wise: how much would a 110 increase by having a galvanized chassis?
Will it justify the costs or not?

I have seen where it brings more to the price but it also makes it easier to sell. since you are going to go to that effort why do you not Galvanize the bulkhead while you are at it? I found a galvanizer in Ashland, VA that did a bulkhead and a frame for me. It wasn't that expensive considering that I had everything apart any way.

The T-pieces are the biggest rusters on a 110 SW. Do them if anything. They are easy enough to remove and refit.

It was no big deal for me and crazyfish doing it on a 109SW, but if they don't line up, I can see it being an issue as Mike mentioned.

Well guys the problem is where i live there are no galvanizer in a 600 mile radius. So it is not that easy for me to do. But i will still keep it in mind. But will be a pain in the ass to get it arranged. Also i heard stories about bulkheads getting deformed by the galvanizing process. Any body heard about this? Would suck if you got your bulkhead galvanized to find out it does not fit anymore! All parts etc will have to come from far away. I like living far away and remote but if you need things done it sucks.

When the built starts i will post the progress.

I have heard about that, but mine came out ok. The flat parts got a bid wavey, but no big deal.
