How to ship lasalle headliner and SW trim panels?

I want to purchase a lasalle headliner and trim pieces for SW. I have contacted thatched roof garage many, many times over the past 6 months by phone and email, so dealing with him is not an option. I have received a quote direct from lasalle, but I can't figure out the cheapest way to ship without having to wait for a container. The packages are oversized for FedEx international shipping, and FedEx freight quoted me about $2000 to ship them to me!!!! Looks like I might just have to wait for a container. Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

Try DHL? I though David Gage kept those lasalle interiors in stock?

I wish I could find out if he did or not, because it would save alot on shipping costs if I could order from him from stock. I am not trying to trash his name by any means, because I have heard from countless people that he is a great guy. Just wish customer service, or customer-to-be service was a little better.

Keep calling until you reach him. Putting up with some BS like that might be worth it in the end if you can get the parts cheap and fast.

Your only 300 miles and 6 hours away...

Seriously, I had to pound the phones to order my goods from David in the past. He's a one man show and not really dependant on the phone sales. I'd say either keep trying, or see if someone nearby can stop in for you. Between this board and dweb, you should be able to find someone in Kingsport.

Or, you may try convincing another retailer to take on your goods in the next shipment. John C. at 4x4ag.com might be up for that arrangement. You'd be surprised at how many people want to fill a container.
