How to seal a soft-top window???

How does one get a good seal on the ST sliding windows? I am here in Hilo HI. Is there any trick to getting a good seal the windows seem to be leaking in through the window along the riveted inner rail and a little throught around the bottom seal? The windows are on my 1966 2A ambulance.

Take them off and check that the drainage slits are clear. the water has to flow down thru the window base, and over the out side of the door.
