how to repair hard top crack?

i have a crack in the removable hardtop (about 7 inches long) that starts where the roll cage cut out is. that part has a small piece broken off as well. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how to repair this? thanks in advance!!

You mean the plastic one? Dunno about that, just get some polymer glue or something. Aluminum, get aluminum filler in a tube.

George, YOu can get the fiberglass matt and resin and patch it. Lay the mat down in the entire area to give it strength. If you don't like working with that stuff. Find a place that works on Vette's

Talking Fixed!!

did just that, went to the good ol' home depot and bought some resin and fiberglass mat. surprisingly, it was so easy and i came back two hours later and it was rock hard (kinda like viagra but i wouldn't know). i just gotta figure ouit how to paint it grey......

I'm gonna sand the top, use filler on the texture, and paint the whole thing inside and out.

George, go to your local autobody supply shop. They may be able to mix you something to match. I would then paint the entire thing. THen it wont fade.
