how to reduce the tire diameter 4 inches?

I have 35" tires (really 34" on the tape) but I'd like to squeeze the spare down to about 30" for in-rig mounting.
I reduced the air to 10 lbs but that wasn't enough.
I though about reducing it further and ratchet strapping it like you do when you try to set a bead. Since I carry an air tank I'm not worried about resetting a bead or airing back up but I'm not sure if I can compress the diameter this much and if it would be, long-term, harmful to the tire.
Any other solutions or thoughts?

How are you planning on mounting it? In other words can just two sides be compressed?

What about pumping/vacuuming the air out of the tire? This should collapse the tire down, while still keeping the bead.

I'll rachet strap it to the floor for now. 2 straps in an "x" pattern
