Question How to keep door from swinging shut

Whenever I open the door, and try to hop in... the door closes on me. Or even when I'm trying to work and just want the doors to stay open.

Is there a way (part or manipulation) to keep the door from closing?

Exchange your truck for a '95. Or use a piece of wood

Chuque Henry's is a 95. Our 95 door stops are different than the 94s (our are way better)

Really?

This is a '94 specific "feature"?

<shrugs, avoids door slamming, shrugs again>

Yup, it goes nicely with the no lock cylinder on the rear door (also found on the '95 but not the '94)...

The part is usually called a "leg" or sometimes "foot" depending on your position. LOL

I wedge the handle of a hammer in the door. I have got it down so I can get it all the way open.

I was going to say "hand," but I guess I was wrong. Not the first time.

I use a bungee cord to hold doors open while working. Also handy for keeping the wind from slamming the bonnet while you're working on the engine.

So you're gonna hold it against me cause I have a 94 and not a 95?!?! Low blow!

So no viable option huh? Change the bracket that holds it?
