A short R380 or a regular one?

94 d90 tranny was replaced with r380 by dealership back in the day. Seems like the tunnel won't go back on. Pops did a quick search and found that the hole in lt77 tunnel is about one inch forward then the hole in the r380 tunnel. Wanted to know if any one ran into same problem and what solution or tricks.

The "trick" usually involves replacing your seat box, tunnel, bulkhead diaphragm and front floor boards

Didn't all of the NAS vehicles have R380 style tunnels even if they had LT77? I thought I read that somewhere.

EDIT: I'm wrong. I just looked up the part numbers, and it looks like they are different, ALR1757 and ALR7005, but the both S/S to ADF710070.... which seems strange to me.
