The process of converting a 1994 NAS D90 from the square rear lights to the newer style 95 & 97 lights.

The parts you will need ahead of time:
New wiring plugs needed (Female)

2 Way Econoseal Plug Assembly (Female) x 3
3 Way Econoseal Plug Assembly (Female) x 2
You can buy from any source, but here is one:
AutoSparks
http://www.autosparks.co.uk/index.php?cPath=94&page=4

If you have not already done so, remove your existing lights and we can begin.
Let’s start with the easy part:
Use the attachments provided for Templates on placement of new holes needed, a simple hole-saw is more than enough for this.

Tape surrounding area off were holes will be drilled, you can use a plinth to help center the hole saw while drilling if you don’t have a steady hand.

You can move to the fun part now, the wiring:
Starting from the driver’s side moving from left to right, Stop/Tail light

(Looking down from back of connector with TAB facing up)

RED/Black Stripe Black Green/Purple Stripe

Turn Signal (Drivers Side)

(Looking down from back of connector with TAB facing up)

Black Green/Red Stripe

Backup Light

(Looking down from back of connector with TAB facing up)

Black Green/Brown Stripe

Passenger Side Stop/Tail Light

(Looking down from back of connector with TAB facing up)

Red/Orange Stripe Black Green/Purple Stripe

Passenger Side Turn Signal
(Looking down from back of connector with TAB facing up)

Black Green/White Stripe

If using the link to AutoSparks then part#'s are:

On the D90 side you need:
C-862 (2-Pin)Female, quantity (3)
C-863 (3-Pin)Female, quantity (2)

If you download the write up you get better details, my earlier post mixed everything up.
Let me try again:

Starting from the driver’s side moving from left to right, Stop/Tail light
(Looking down from back of connector, with tab facing up)left to right

RED/Black Stripe ............... Black...............Green/Purple Stripe

Turn Signal (Drivers Side)
(Looking down from back of connector, with tab facing up)left to right
Black............................Green/Red Stripe

Backup Light
(Looking down from back of connector, with tab facing up)left to right
Black......................Green/Brown Stripe

Passenger Side Stop/Tail Light
(Looking down from back of connector, with tab facing up)left to right
Red/Orange Stripe.........................Black..................................Green/Purple Stripe

Passenger Side Turn Signal
(Looking down from back of connector, with tab facing up)left to right
Black..................................... Green/White Stripe

I hope this helps

LED back-up light

I have to replace mine anyway as it got used as a step and is no longer a going concern, thats the reason I ask. Are the LEDs VFM? I should say I have the older brick looking ones (reverse and fog guard). They never looked right with the round ind and brake lamps.
