how to confim CDL is operational

Folks, New 110 to me. No CDL light comes on no matter what I do with the CDL lever. Is there a way to know that the CDL is working without the light coming on.

I installed the Lucky 8 CDL locking mechanism on my '01 Disco II so I understand how they work - although I am not sure the factory linkage is adjustable on the 110 like the Lucky 8 kit linkage is for the Disco.

- but I am not sure if my issue is just the CDL light on my 110 or the CDL itself. If it turns out to be the light are they replaceable like an instrument light or do I need to buy the whole warning light cluster? I've been into my instrument cluster many times now so changing the bulb is no problem.

I did try turning a corner with CDL on and off and did not notice a difference - but I was on dirt. I suppose the next check should be on dry pavement.

I appreciate your input

is light replaceable?

The CD is ambiguous but it looks like it may be replaceable.
