How thick is a LaSalle headliner? Need for roll bar install

Anybody have a LaSalle headliner that can measure how thick it is? I want to put one in, but the guy who's fabbing up the interior part of the POE's roll bar only has the tubing bender for next week. Ideally, I'd have the headliner first obviously, but this all came up so fast, I thought I'd ask you guys for some help on clearances.

I emailed LaSalle, but have yet to get a response.

Thanks

We contacted the old fellow who owns Lassale last fall and he tried to sell us the business. I suggest you call- email response didn't happen for me.

I been interested in the LaSalle stuff for a while, and I know it can be tough to find good pics. Here are are a few that might help...

http://www.landrovertraderonline.com...s.php?id=10070

Its on a series rig, but it might be enough to give you some idea on the thickness. Good luck.

There is no one curently importing the Lasalle fiberglass head liners into the US. The Thatched Roof Garage was the last importer here and they have been out of business for years.

I'll try that, but where exactly is this place located? I honestly really don't know what all that means. I see the "tel" number, but what are the country and city codes?

I talked to them sometime last year, and they offered to ship it to me via air to the nearest international airport. I don't know if that was for real or not, but that is what they said.

drop the first zero and dial the int and country code. He's South of London somewhere the sy25 6bb is the postal code.

Yes he was willing to ship the 110 headliner as well.

That's for sure. Glad my last name is only 5 letters. If they made me spell that last name to graduate 1st grade, I'd still be there.

Thats his address not name. Look like he is in Wales, and the place names get very strange round there.

Mark,

Did you add any insulation between the LaSalle and the roof? Impressions on sound, dirt resistance, texture, general impressions...?

I added the dynamat hoodliner (foam backed light-weight foil) between the roof and the liner. Reduced the cavitation I was receiving from the diesel.

The headliner is durable. Hard to clean though.
