How is this Chassis?

I'm new to Defenders, so I'd like your opinion on this chassis? How bad is it?

word of advice. if a seller hasn't taken the time to shoot fair and reasonable pictures they are likely sending you a non-verbal message. to me it looks like theyve exhausted zero effort here.

Was thinking the same thing! It's hard to tell by pics, best thing to do is get under it with a hammer and tap around, if it make hollow noises it is thinner in other spots, and if it goes through then you know it's bad!! Rust through is bad surface rust is fine. Good luck looks pretty solid from your pics!

I would take a hammer to it and inspect it closely if it wasn't 6,000 miles away. And you're right, they took zero effort in taking the pics, but that is about the best I'm going to get with this seller.

Gotcha! Anyone on the board willing to check it out for you? They usually are pretty good helping out board members.

It looks like they have about 20 Defenders there. Fly over and check them all out in person and pick the best one if any of them meet your standards.

Looks like UK given there are 5-6 ExMods in the background.

Looks like ExMods. I went through Abe (Solarguy) and got a super clean one and couldn't be happier with my Tithonus. Doug Crowther did the shipping. It was a very good experience all around with these guys.

I suggest you have a pre-purchase inspection done. 250gbp or so and know everything that is wrong.
