Try not to take the dash apart if you can. Depending on where and what the indicators are, you can use a "snake" and pull wire through to where you want.

Really? Why is it inadvisable to go digging into the dash? the indicators will go in the center section and one will be a boost gauge so I need the hose intact.

Nothing bad will happen, it's just a lot of screws and takes a long while. You may find a few fasteners missing and cure some rattles along the way

It's just a pain to take it apart and put it back together again - especially if you're just dragging 4 wires to a two guage cluster.

I've put in a ton of gauges and never taken the dash apart. There are two conduits along the back. You can fish wires or tubes through them easily.
