how do you get the lock out?

I have replaced the door latches, but they don't come with new locks, so how do you get the old locks out?

Remove all the bits attached then there is a little 'button' to press in which releases the lock from the mechanism.

Not sure about the button... Mine had that little screw like in the diagram in the link above. I also had to take some of the cross brackets for the window regulator off to access the lock.

Thanks for the help. Still having trouble even accessing the lock because my locking mechanism doesn't have bolts like in the diagram, but rather factory metal stamps that i can't simply unscrew. I am going to try and drill them out today. Thanks again
