I've just about got the 4.0 ready to fire up in the '97 - yes, I'm painfully slow about this - and already visited with Pendy about priming the oiling system.
As I was plugging things in last evening I wondered why I hadn't heard anyone discuss using an Accucump or some other pre-oiler system on these things?
I don't know about you guys, but I have a heck of a time finding oil filters with effective drain back valves and so have some rattle from time to time on start up.
I'd like to avoid that with the new valvetrain...
Yeah, I know...more oil lines under the hood...just what every Defender owner looks forward to
