Horizontal bar above door for soft top

My assumption is yes, but I need to ask.

On my 97 soft top, the buttons for my new surry top are not matching to the snaps on the horizontal bar above the door. I am assuming the button patterns are the same for all years? I will call British Atlantic tomorrow, just wondering if anyone else had this issue when installing a surrey top?

I experienced a similar issue with my 94' and Bestop surrey. From this picture, do your snap rails have the same spacing shown or do they match the spacing of the surrey?

Exactly the same! You can only button one on each side.....thinking about sending it back.

Interesting... So the spacing of the snaps on your 97' snap rail are the same as my 94'? For some reason I thought they were different for the 97' and possibly the 95'. That begs the questions -- just what year(s) was the Bestop surrey designed for?

Send it back or sell it here. They go fast. Mine sold with the hour:

This issue seems to come up pretty frequently. The horizonta snap rails were different year-to-year? Didn't know that.

So I did some research today, there are known issues with the Bestop Surry tops not matching the buttons. 94, 95 and 97 D90's all have the same button pattern. I returned the surrey to Atlantic British, they were very easy to deal with the return. I ordered a new surry from Rovers North, they guaranteed the buttons will match up.
