Cool hood catch/latch pictures needed

guys,

My D90 had the military hold downs installed, I removed everything and need to install and put back all factory parts needed...can someone snap a few pictures of underneath the hood & inside pull cable mount I have nothing right now?...I'm just going back to a cleaner factory look for now.

I plan on keeping all the parts I removed for a later project and dont plan on selling anything.

thanks

I second the suggestion to get an early 110 latch. The pull cables suck. I'm not sure where I got my replacement but it's about to fail after less than a year.

You mean this area? I've got other pix. You should buy the new-style lift-up hood release. The t-handle is worthless.

How do you remove the handle and release cable? I have no latch mechanism anymore since the Allard Intercooler doesn't have room for one. I have the military style hood latches on top of the hood. The previous owner removed the latch mechanism but left the cable and handle in place. I'd like to remove them since they serve no purpose but I'm not sure what they're attached to. I've tried pulling it out but its stuck.
