yep, if you get one get one that swings away not the cheesy fold down type. youll be glad you spent the extra for the swing away.

I'm shopping for a bike rack now. all i see are the "cheesy fold down type". haven't seen a swing away yet. can someone point me to a swing away example?

yes they will if you have a stock width tire and the factory bumper. I am trying to determine if mine will work with an aftermarket cross member mounted hitch liek the safri gard or rover accessories

I used a thule swing away. it was nice.... held several bikes and was good quality.

This is the one I have and is cheaper than the Yakima. It is great for weird full suspension frames that are difficult to fit into the arm-type racks. Only carries 2 bikes though, and you need a hitch extension to clear the spare tire.
