I knew that would get your attention....

Posting for a buddy who never heard of the interweb. Buddy has an RRC with BW transfer case and recent bought a Tom Woods HD front DC driveshaft. Trouble is that the new driveshaft has the larger diameter flange and doesn't mate up to the BW smaller TC output flange.

So the question is, are the LT230 and BW TC flanges interchangeable? What are his options? New shaft? We already looked at swapping the driveshaft flanges, but the new DC shaft has a funky flange with ball in the middle.

he can get the D2 output adaptor off a D2 and put that on. As it is it will be too short too - the D2 output plate mounts right up and fits fine. That was what guys used to do (with a D2 double cardon) before TW and GB made them specifically for a RRC

Nope, he's coming up in rear wheel drive and a vendor will be giving him a new shaft.

When taking a shaft from a vendor a lot of lubrication helps ease it in

Hmmm, this is starting to get weird, considering we will all be up in the woods together in a few days.
