Can someone tell me the affects a high performance air filter will have on a 2.5 na? Like a K&N for example.

On a day when there is little wind, remove the stock air filter and take a small trip on a paved road and it will be somewhere between where you are now and the K&N which in all cases is very slow.

Once when driving a 2.5 N/A 110, pulled out on the interstate and a car 5 miles behind almost ran into the back of us.

Reduces vehicle range as you have less cash to fill up the tank?

Stick with stock filters. With the furious hp of the 2.5 NA you will gain nothing with a K&A.

I thought I would let you guys know that I have had a K&N on my truck for about 3 weeks and I can tell a difference. The truck has more pick up and holds its speed a little better on the hills , what we call hills in Fl anyway. The other interesting thing I noticed was the engine braking was reduced a lot and I the engine was louder. I thought the guys that have had discussions about this topic might be interested in knowing that fact.

Frankly I am shocked you noticed any difference with a 2.5NA.
