high/low pressure oil line leak ?

300 tdi- both my high and low pressure oil lines have a slight leak where the SS line meets the fitting.

Need to drive the truck tomorrow- highway driving. Curious what kind of risk I have in doing this. Won't be able to get new lines for a few days.

This isn't like those Baked Alaska V8 oil cooler line scenarios is it?

Thanks,
Alex

The oil cooler lines are on the opposite side of the engine from the exhaust, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Mine seeped for a while and just ended up on the front differential. As long as it's not dripping on or near something hot, I wouldn't worry much about it, at least from a bursting-into-flames perspective.

You have a great point and the 300 doesn't have the exposure that a V8 has, but why chance it?
