Interesting, I had tried to find them on Sylvania's site without success. The original examples I had seen looked alot more 'normal' than your second link, and actually used a halogne bulb for the high beam, instead of a Bi-Xeon light source, so in that regard it looks like the first link you posted may be an updated version.

Certainly a better way to go than fitting an 'HID Conversion' bulb to a Halogen headlamp system.

Found a link to an article dating back to 2002 regarding the original Sylvania 7" round HID replacements I had seen, just for kicks..

Yes, if you look around on that site, they also do a version with HID low, halogen high. I did not mention it as that is retarded....

The first ones are the reflector style and the second the projector style. Lighting is supposed to be better with the projectors, but they look stupid, IMO...

edit: and yes, they are not on any of the manufacturers' sites...
