help with stalling issue,

I was riding along with a smile on my face. I came to a curve in the road, after the curve the Rover started to lose power, it still ran, but not very well, I drove for about 2 miles and came to stop sign and it stalled. I was able to restart it and get home. I think it's a fuel problem, just don't know where to start looking, oh yea, it's a 300 tdi,
What do you think?

Fuel filter first.

This. Drain the bottom if you can as well, you may have water all in it.

How low was the tank on fuel?

I would disconnect the inlet line from the injection pump, remove the fuel solenoid wire and crank it over. See if you are getting a good flow of fuel from the lift pump. The pump could be dead or the filter plugged.
