HELP.stranded at the car wash...hour 2

Ok so my 90 and I are stranded at the car wash. Here are the details

-went to get truck washed, engine detailed I come back and this is what I find.
-truck wont shift out of park, its stuck in 4L, brake lights out, keys stuck in ignition.

I've checked all fuses, can shift to diff and 4l but not 4h, removed bat to get key out.

Thanks. I refuse to get towed until its too dark ti work

Guessing the engine will start.
Think your brake switch has failed.
Try to pull the switch and create a short across the terminals.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

Rocky you are right. Thanks to British Car Service in LA for talking me through it.

The terminals failed and i had a nice walk to Pepboys to get new ones for an easy install. Not sure why the idiots were messing with the 4wheel...however everything is back to normal. Thanks
