Xjahx just saw your post thank you but they expect the relay tomorrow so will know soon enough but thank you. I'm keeping fingers crossed. It does sound like a viable solution given that it starts, fires up then very quickly shuts off as if it's not getting fuel. Given the fuel pump is a new LR oem pump and less than 6 months old and the relay who knows I'm hopeful it's just the relay or a bad ground (which we have a back up solution for).

Update!! It was the..........fuel pump relay. They ordered me two of them so I have a spare. Thank you everyone for caring and assistance but a special thanks to Randy. Randy you went above and beyond with your ground kit. I will be sending your stuff back plus something nice! :-)

Back to vacation!

Great news and simple fix. If you want the Defender experience without the crowds, we have 3 miles of dirt / sand roads and beach access away from the public spots.

When do you leave? We should at least take a group shot and a quick hello.

Great news will. To paraphrase John Travolta, it's time for you to strut!

I leave early Sunday. Let's meet up tomorrow if you are around. I wanted to do Chappy and the beach drive there (have never been). Let me know if you want to meet up! Would be fun.

As a warning, because of the crowds, they have been limiting the numb of 4x4 on Norton Point the last few weekends. Arrive early. The entrance is right (left) next to South Beach, and there are air stations at the entrance. Sending you a PM with my cell, same to you MAC.

Oh I'm strutting! Saw two 1994 Beluga black Defender 90s when we were in downtown Edgartown for dinner. Parked right next to each other I might add. Tomorrow we head to Chappy for some beach driving. Can't wait. Feels great to be reunited with #310 again Randy!

Oh okay I thought you enter chappy beach drove from chappy. Didn't know you do so from South Beach? Are they connected again? Does that get you to Cape Poge as well?

To be honest, I do not know. We buy them off season and all day long make the drive. In the summer, I am not sure. If you goal is Cape P, enter via Chappy and avoid Norton Point all together.

Wmatos, enjoy the ride. The Cape Poge gut (entrance) is one of my absolute favorite places. We won't be out and about until later in the day as have a long list of things to do around the house before its play time.

Pics from Chappy

We had an amazing morning out in the sand and the Defender performed flawlessly!

Looks awesome will! Glad the XZLs worked out for you on the sand, they're really not designed for the deep loose bottomless sand.

They did real good aired down to about 13psi. Not an issue once and we were out there for a few hours. Drove through real deep stuff with confidence by keeping a steady foot on gas with steady momentum at 15 mph. I would imagine wider would be better but based on today I think these did just great!
