Help needed - on the road

Driving from Florida to Texas on I10 and my wipers got stuck in the 'on' position. Smelled something burning, some part of the motor must be fried but they're still on. Need to continue driving tomorrow; anybody in the birmabright brotherhood able to lend a hand? Spending the night in Destin, may try and make it to New Orleans tomorrow to see if George at RDS has the parts. Should I just pull the motor in the meantime? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Fuse?
Unplug the motor?
At the least pull the wiper arms off.

Pull the fuse and get some rainx in case you run into rain. Have George give you a bottle of Lucas Smoke to put back into the system.
