Heavy Duty Drive Flange

While refreshing the rear wheel bearings in my 110 this weekend I noticed a lot of play in both hub flanges. The axle itself looks fine but the drive flange splines look chewed. I've searched and this appears to be a common occurrence.

Any thoughts on the range of Heavy duty drive flanges available? I've searched GBR's website but don't see them mentioned. I have a set of HD rear axles in my series that came from GBR more then ten years ago - I like their stuff. Does anyone have experience with their flanges?

Thanks again,
Henry

Hey Andy,

Are those different from the TerraFirma ones? They look the same, I can't tell.

Ashcroft make their own, don't know who makes the others. Email or PM Dave & he'll give you the skinny on the specs.
