Heated Windscreen

Does anyone have a heated windscreen? Do the heating elements interfere with EZ Pass Toll Readers?

I have one but yet to use the fastpass. I'll give it a try this weekend

I have a heated windshield and I have to hold my EZ Pass up to my sunroof for it to work. A toll booth operator told me it was because the windshield was so vertical, but I suspected the heating elements.

Thanks for the info - figured this would be an issue since our Disco 2 and LR2 had the same issues.

Really? I have two P38's and an LR4 and have never had an EZ Pass issue.

I am assuming the LR4 had a heated windshield? The newer ones have an area on either side of the mirror that is plain glass - noticed that on a loaner we had during a service visit.

The P38 and LR4 have heated windshields with the heating elements running vertically across the windshield. EZ Pass are located behind the elements with no issue.

I have a bunch of parts coming in from the UK from a supplier, thinking of adding this into the order.

OK thanks - might go for it and if need be just get the exterior EZPass tag - just hate the look of it on the front license plate.

I dont think it has anything to do with the vertical window design. I use my EZPass without issues but do NOT have heated front glass.

Agreed. My Ezpass is stuck to the bottom of the windshield and no problems. Have them test the battery. Ezpasses don't last forever.
