Ran out of stock now ... had 30 sets of the LED head lights from the Autobiography edition from Landrover. All sold within a couple of weeks, 90 % went to customers in the States. Expensive units but they are truelly great. Check the listing in the parts for sale section.

Did you watch the video reviews posted above?

IMO, the Truck-Lites were a lot better than the Noldens. The Noldens had a crappy beam pattern.

My opinion on best to worst from the review vids.

Vision X
JW Speaker
Truck-Lite
KC Hilites and Nolden about the same.

All the rest were crap.

Truck-Lites are the best bang for the buck, IMO.

Watch all of the actual tests first and make up your own mind. Delete all biased information from the internet from your brain first.... https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...24UzBKHGQEoX7D

I have watched a bunch of the review videos and read way more reviews than I would like to count. I kind of narrowed it down to the JW Speaker and the Truck-Lite. I do a lot of nasty slushy winter driving. I have not found any consistent idea of rather the heating elements are worth while or not. Anyone have any first hand experience here with the heated Truck-Lites?

thanks
Craig

These "Pilot Nolden" lights are priced at $510/pair. Although they do not incorporate leveling motors, their appearance (silver model) is very much the same as the Noldens that the Defender Heritage model was equipped with. These U.S. market lights are stamped "DOT-SAE".

Those look good for only $500. I always thought Pilot was known for low quality products but if they aren't manufacturing them then...

Anyone have a pic of a Defender Heritage with LED headlights? Every picture I Google the truck has halogens. Do you mean the Autobiography headlights?

The Truck-Lite and JW Speaker also look pretty awesome.

The goal is to build my truck "OEM++" I.E. Like factory but better which is why the Nolden appeal to me.

I'm standing right now in front of a heritage... It certainly has halogens.

It is the Adventure and Autobiography that had the LED headlamps, not the Heritage.

Awesome.

What is the difference between a D90 'Hard top' and a 'Station Wagon'? Rear seats?

I am thinking the Nolden/Pilot lights and the Bolt On Bits markers will make a sweet combo.

A "Hard top" has no cargo area side windows and a "SW" does. Usually the trim is different as well AFAIK.

I was all amped on the Nolden's until I saw the beam pattern. They look cool I guess. At least until you turn them on and realize you spent a grand on such a whacky beam pattern.

Apparently this is who manufactures the Nolden/Pilot headlights

Microlight

Here is a thread that has some good comparison of the Noldens vs the JW's

Certainly my mistake about the factory Defender models with LED headlights.

The lights I purchased from Umnitza were made in Taiwan (as I believe "Noldens" are) by "Giant Light" (hence Model GL-180). Perhaps "Microlight" is yet another manufacturing name for the same LED headlights.

Radio Interference from LED Headlights

I just discovered that the 'Noldens', unlike my other LED lights (Rigid Industries), generate electrical "noise" (RF energy) that interferes with reception of weak signals from FM broadcast stations.

I have the same, took a chance on them but have been very happy. Better than the HIDs on my Porsche http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...1&d=1462815312

Wow those are ugly as shit. But if they have a good pattern, the price sure is right. Are there any pictures of the pattern anywhere? Having trouble finding any real info on them.
