The only thing Ecode refers to is approval for sale in the EEC.

Call rally lights .. They give great advice. I have e-codes ( because I thing they have a better light pattern ) and 75w white bulbs running on standard switches. No problems and a vast improvement over standard. It's also pretty cheap combo!

Sure, but research first as some have good light pattern and others are crap...

For the most light, there are a few proper HID housings in 7" that will work as well. All fairly expensive.
