Probably just a bulb. These big old 7" sealed beams have dual filiments in there, and even if your low beam filiment goes bad the high beam will still work.

Personally, I say just get a set of Hella E-code H4's and be done with it

If it's not the bulb, then get a test light and check at the bulb socket to see if you've got juice there. May just be corroded and needs a cleaning at the connector.

I guess you took the working bulb and tried it on the non-working side?

If I wasn't so busy this weekend, I'd say just come on over and we'll get it sorted out. Maybe during the week sometime if you're still having issues.

Excellent! You're going to love the H4's BTW, a massive upgrade, particularly if you went for the (technically not DOT approved) E-Code lenses.

Stock wattage? Or did you go with more powerful bulbs?

If you upped the wattage, you'll really want to put a relay in there before you melt the switch.

I gotcha, never seen the D1 lights.

The E-Code Hella's I always get from Rallylights.com Great guy to deal with.
10% off if you mention D90.com too!

'tis all good. Saw somebody else asked where to get them, so figured it wouldn't hurt to post the info.
