Head gaskets??

Hi, new here but need help. I own a 1985 2.5 turbo diesel 110. The head gasket popped so it was taken apart to redo the head. It turned out the gasket had corroded though between no 2 & 3 pistons. The gasket I removed has no 432830 stamped on and measures 2mm with a vernier. I live in South Africa and can locate only head gasket up to 1.6mm 3 hole. I think the head had been skimmed before. What happens if I fit the 1.6mm. Will the valves hit the pistons? Any help??please.

You need to measure the piston stick put yo choose the head gasket per the manual. You can also check in the manual if the valve recess is within spec.

If someone fitted a 200TDI, it depends on how much was cut off the head.
If you have a 2.5 TD non TDI no chance.
