HD axles question

Hi guys. What is a good source for heavy duty axles? Will they come with HD cv joints as well? I plan on doing more wheeling this summer & figured i should upgrade axles before lockers, correct? I live in the midwest so no rockcrawling fyi. Thanks!

I hear good things about Great Basin Rovers in SLC combing through the forums. They have a decent site with prices and contact details. I've just paid more attention to them since they are local.

This is probably implied but, if you are upgrading to HD axels, you would be insane to not get CV's at the same time. That or you just like changing CV's on the trail!

If Keith is out, Justin at Lucky 8 can get some Ashcroft. (That is what I had to do)

Great Basin Rovers is yesterdays news. Does anyone actually shop there anymore?

Keith at Rovertracks, or Justin at Lucky 8 Off-Road, who also sells Keith's products.

I was digging pretty deep in the forums this week being new to the forum, Keith seems a bit more reasonable from the quick cross check. And the majority is on to something! Lol

Been wanting to try a set of Kieth's axle shafts. Today I broke a rear axle on the trail. Seems like a great excuse to order them. My question is: i broke a rear shaft, do I need to do the fronts at the same time?

You don't have to, but they're going to break one day anyway, so you may as well.

I like Justin and his service. I know for a fact that he ran GBR in his truck. I still trust the old man at GBR.

I ran rovertracks rears and twisted them a little, didn't break but my GBR shafts never twisted.
