Has anyone tried any Penetrol

Has anyone out tere tried Penetrol on there frame? I know most Land Rover guys are using the Waxoyl but this product seems very similar and is available at the local Home Depot at a very attractive price. Apparently it has many, many uses. but I read that it is often used in maribe applications and also is often used in auto applications in Austrailia. Anyone out there have real first hand info on this product? Looks promising to me. http://www.flood.com/flood/Products/...+Prod+Page.htm

I use it on wood on my boat but never thought about it on my frame...

It's an interior product. Used in construction to help the painter, I don't think it would be a substitute for Waxoyl.

Actually if you google it you will see that it is also used on boats http://www.floodaustralia.net/produc...arine_rust.htm . And if you look here http://www.floodaustralia.net/produc...etrol_rust.htm you will see that it is used in Austrailia for rust and I read in a few other places where people had been using it for under cariiage protection. I alos read that it is also the same stuff and just packaged differently.
