Hard Top Questions

How much does a factory fiberglass hardtop (optional for the soft top versions) weigh? Also, has anyone ever modified a Series hard top to fit on a D90?

The roof weights 50-60 pounds, but is really bulky.

The other parts weigh maybe another 60 pounds and most of the weight is glass.

Dispite the weelbase being increased from 88 to 90 inches, the length remained I believe the same. However the biggest, and impossible difference is the windscreen..the 90 is taller and rounded..the only way to fit a series top is to use series windcreen: lower and dead straight. Also forget your roll cage. tim
