Anyone have experience with him ?

Looking at suspension parts and came across him. Seems to be popular in the uk but very little written about it here.

He certainly has a good rep over here. A lot of my friends who do/did challenge events reccomend him.

I don't know how quality compares to QT/Terrafirma... I get the impressions GL is more specialised and lower productivity, whereas QT & Terrafirma "pile 'em high sell 'em cheap" kind of thing. Although I could be wrong.

I think your spot on with business models and glad to hear he has a good reputation. I just want to make sure because he is a smaller shop the precision/tolerance isn't compromised.

I think he cares more about the tolerance and quality than the big boys do.

Precision and tolerance in the same sentence as Defender part? The trucks are built to a plus or minus 1 to 2 inches. How anyone makes aftermarket parts that fit every truck is a feat of magic.

Typically heavier duty than other brands, galvanized finish. Design driven by his experience trailing . To my knowledge most of the terrafirma stuff is made in China.

I have a set of Gwynn Lewis springs for a 110 if you're interested. Netted about 3" of lift. Good ride and articulation for a set of HD springs

It's called slotted holes.... or the technical term 'obround holes'
