Grill Surround 110 AC

I noticed that the pushed out grill surround for Defenders with AC now have vents in the bottom. I think this was made for trucks that were auto. Does that mean the original style that came on NAS 110s with a solid bottom are no longer made?

The Td5 defenders all have those extra holes in the bottom of the grill (A/C and non A/C)

As you say, the auto oil cooler is usually around that area, but the Td5's have it for extra engine cooling (along with those grilles next to the headlights)

If you wanted one without the holes, you could always get a "newer" one and just use body filler to fill them in (with some mesh behind to stop it falling out!)

The vents on the headlight trims are not for cooling. They are to let the sound of the horns out.
A horn (the honk-honk type) is mounted right behind each of those vents between the parking light and signal. There is nothing to "cool" in that area.
